Melbourne Storm has struck again, announcing a contract extension with front of shorts partner, Makita, and introducing a new sponsor in renowned wine producer, Tyrrell’s, into their impressive suite of partners.

The renewal with Makita will take the partnership into its third consecutive year, ensuring the iconic power tool brand maintains its status as the club’s official front of shorts partner.

Melbourne Storm has continued to build their commercial success by announcing retail giant Harvey Norman as Storm’s official back of jersey sponsor for the 2011 finals.

Harvey Norman, who has been a long term partner of the club, will grow its sponsorship of Melbourne Storm to join sponsors Crown, Suzuki and KooGa on Storm’s jersey, an enviable stable of powerhouse brands.

Harvey Norman will continue to back Melbourne Storm in 2012, assuming the much-coveted back of shorts position for next season.

This announcement follows a year of off-field growth for Melbourne Storm, with the club delivering record attendances and memberships for the season.
